Born and raised in New York City, Jamel started seeking a means to balance mind and body and was introduced to Yoga in Brooklyn 15 years ago. Although his desire to practice Yoga at that time was strong, he gradually stepped away from the practice due to life circumstances. Some years later, Jamel revisited yoga and wanted to become stronger in this practice. He became a yoga instructor to help others develop their mind, body, and spirit. Jamel completed his 200-hour Vinyasa training in 2015 and has completed additional training in different healing modalities over the following years.

Jamel’s yoga classes are alignment-based, engaging, energetic, fun, uplifting, and alignment-based. To add to the yoga experience, Jamel incorporates healing Reiki energy and his knowledge and use of essential oils and Herbalism for health and emotional balance.
